Just got back from the W. C. Handy Blues & Barbeque Festival in Henderson, KY….They had everything from amazing local talent to Dwayne Dopsie and The Zydeco Hell Raisers, Chubby Carrier, Curtis Salgado, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Nikki Hill, John Primer, Tommy Castro, and Victor Wainwright & The WildRoots, not to mention, The Beat Daddys!!! I sat in with them at the festival, and I have to say, they were on fire!!!! I want to thank all the great folks that put in many tireless hours to pull this off! This fest is 100% funded by many generous donors, like the very people in attendance….It’s free to the audience for a mere raffle ticket to the Red Beans And Rice Dinner.
