Never thought we would have winter, what with all the warm weather we’d been having, but……now we’re in it….. with a freezer blasting……thankfully, we get to be inside playing some great music on Bob Seger’s Final Tour, and ‘marching’ through many of the coldest states right now. Here’s a few shots from some of the shows!! As February rolls through, we get to dip down into California for a bit to warm the extremities….lol
From left to right: Barbara Payton, Me, (Shaun Murphy)and Laura Creamer in Toledo
Getting ready for sound check in Buffalo, NY
Another shot from Buffalo with: Mark Chatfield, Rob McNelley, Chris Campbell, and Barbara Payton
Another sold-out show in Peoria, IL….They said it was the highest-grossing show in Peoria’s history!!! With: Barbara Payton, Laura Creamer, and me (Shaun Murphy)
Closing out the show with ‘Rock And Roll Never Forgets’ With Me, (Shaun Murphy) Bob Seger, and Laura Creamer.
Shaun–I have yet to see you in person, but I still think you have the greatest voice singing the blues today. I always eagerly await your cds, and I will go to see you if you are anywhere within a hundred miles of me. I have been listening to blues for over 60 years and you are one of only four blues singers that could send shudders up my spine–Tina Turner, Bonny Bramlett, Tracy Nelson, and now you. You are a national treasure. Thank you for all the great recordings, and one day i swear I will see you in person.–Eric Beerwald
Hi Eric, You are so, so kind, thank you very much!! I’m happy to let you know that I’m working on a new CD, and will be starting to tour on my own as after the Bob Seger tour has ended!! So stay tuned….All the best, Shaun
